A good tip
To best plan your stay we will advise you about some partners of ours or useful web sites where you can find much more information for the planning of your unforgettable stay by Lake Iseo.
Located on the charming west bank of Lake Iseo, Lovere has been described by the English writer, Lady Wortley Montagu, during her long stay, as “the most romantic place I have ever seen.”
In the last years, Lovere has been giving a strong input to the tourism sector, staking all on the enviable location and its panoramic, historical, artistic and cultural features.
The new Cornasola Touristic Harbour, the largest on the lake, can offer you gorgeous days and emotions by putting you in direct contact with nature and the unforgettable landscape with swimming, windsurf, rowing and sailing.
Touristic Harbour of Lovere
With a 30,000 sq. m surface, the complex can host 250 boats of maximum 10 meters in length.
The moorings are split into six jetties positioned into crystal clear waters and protected by a mole.
Each mooring is divided by specific fingers and is supplied with water, electricity and fire prevention service.
The piers are illuminated in the night-time.
The structure is part of a dynamic and relaxing area, offering several opportunities for leisure and get-togethers.
Tadini School of Fine Arts
Count Luigi Tadini, between 1821 and 1826, commissioned the construction of this building to host his own art collection in the frescoed rooms.
As Count Tadini wished, the Academy hosts the School of Fine Arts: music, painting and design, which for decades, and still today, offers courses to the many enrolees.
Many famous artists like Giorgio Oprandi and Giovanni Maria Benzoni studied in these schools.
From 1927 up to today, the Academy organises the prestigious Concert Season with artists of worldwide renown.
Events at Lake Iseo
The calendar of Lake Iseo events is full and very intense
The food and wine fairs are decisively the most numerous, followed by prized musical and cultural appointments along with wide-ranging sports events
The entire year is dotted with antique, handicrafts, DIY and vintage flea markets.
Mount Isola (Montisola in the Brescia dialect) is a municipality located right in the middle of Lake Iseo and has 1,770 inhabitants.
This is a widespread municipality: the municipal office is situated in the Siviano district.
With its total surface of 12.8 km², it is the biggest lake isle in Italy and southern and central Europe.
Cavallina Valley and Endine Lake
The Cavallina valley is the valley of the Cherio River in the province of Bergamo winding out for a span of 30 km between the mouth of Trescore and the closure of Endine Gaiano, at the extreme end of the lake going north-eastward.
This portion of the Valley penetrates between the Serian Valley to the west and the Sebino basin and Lake Iseo Lake south-eastward: a narrow corridor connects the Bergamo plateau with the Borlezza valley and thus, Camonica Valley.
Lake Iseo Boat trips
Heir to a long tradition, the boating tours date back to 1840 which saw the involvement of private companies and since 1975, public agencies dedicated to the navigation service on Lake Iseo gave rise in 2003 to the Iseo Lake Navigation company, with a sole partner, the Iseo Lake Basin Authority, of Endine and Moro (former Lake Consortium) consisting of the riparian municipalities
which, Pursuant to Art. 48 of Regional Law no. 6 of 4 April 2012, constituted a non-profit public body.
